ZCASEBA: An Introduction.
By Shannon Claxton
Formed in 2018, the ZCAS Economics and Business Association is an association whose vision is not lost in translation, rather, it is reflected in their decisions and the diligent attitude that it embodies. The brains behind the association do not fall short of highest esteem and emulate the most professional and established of mind-sets.
Going beyond the surface of trivial
students’ circumstantial distress, ZCASEBA dived into the complexities of
running an association which is currently one of the largest in the university
and is continuously growing. They broke
down the challenges of being financially independent from the university and
the consequences that come from being resourceful by digging into their own
pockets to fund the events which positively impact the students they aim to
reach as well as indirectly promoting the university’s name.
Tenacity, loyalty and professionalism
represent the qualities that the current leaders embody. Each with their
distinct important roles that keep the association thriving. The association attracts
compelling attention from students due to its appreciation of their opinion on
the true realities of the problems faced by them and how best to negate and/or
maximize the potential industries in the Zambian economy. It strongly believes
in enhancing work-force capacity by exhausting the possibilities of the current
and future economic conditions.
By urging new minds to get involved in the
realities of today and stimulating the strength that lies within all students,
ZCASEBA can be proud of being an intentional being, making bold, brave moves to
continue laying a strong foundation for the future leaders to come. It is
nothing less than inspiring to get even just a glimpse of the responsibility
that falls on the heads of those persons, who, with grace and sophistication accomplish
their goals.
It is without a shadow of a doubt that ZCASEBA
will reap successful members of a society to come. As Winston Churchill so
gallantly put it “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage
to continue that counts.”
